Jim Gilhooly
Jim is the founder of the Jetstream Consulting Group (JCG). He offers forty years of business expertise together with an extensive network of industry leaders and specialists.
In his advisory role Jim has worked with a broad spectrum of organisations, from manufacturers, operators, trade bodies to governments, helping them make insightful strategic choices.
Jim began his career as an engineer before transitioning into commercial, strategic, and business development roles.
He has held senior management positions in a variety of market leading international companies. These include BAE Systems, Leonardo, Panasonic, Saab, and Thales.
Before setting up JCG in 2015, Jim worked with the UK Government’s Department for International Trade (DIT) as an Aerospace Specialist, focusing on export opportunities for UK based organisations.
Jim holds a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering, an MBA from the Ashridge Business School and is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
